Behind the Art

Verona is a London Metropolitan University graduate whose work sits at the intersection of traditional draftsmanship, digital illustration, and storytelling. Driven by a constant curiosity to explore new mediums, her portfolio spans everything from pencil life drawings and gouache paintings to digital character design, zines, and sequential comic art like Motley Katz and Scrap.

Whether capturing historical figures, local London streetscapes, or satirical cartoon characters, Verona’s artwork balances bold visual expression with thoughtful thematic narratives.
